The ABS-CBN Foundation has dedicated itself to improving the lives of Filipinos, particularly the marginalized, for 36 years.

Driven by the enduring spirit of bayanihan, the foundation has grown to become one of the most reputable organizations in the nation, supporting people in all facets of their lives. establishing safe spaces for kids, providing assistance to those in need, promoting people’s right to an education, safeguarding the environment, and helping Filipinos establish sustainable livelihoods.

In keeping with this idea, MNL City Run, which is managed by Rule and Rich Events Management Services, has established a reputation for uniting people behind worthwhile causes. Since 2019, it has brought thousands of runners together to support causes that improve lives, such as health and education, as well as housing and rehabilitation for marginalized populations. Since then, it has supported 17 beneficiaries, planned about 20 events, and raised close to Php 2 million.

The ABS-CBN Foundation and MNL City Run are collaborating in 2026 to raise money for the foundation’s five main causes: education (Programa Genio), environmental stewardship (Bantay Kalikasan), children’s rights and development (Bantay Bata), disaster management (Sagip Kapamilya), and sustainable livelihood (GaLing Pamayanan).

Kapamilya Run, inspired by the time-honored Kapamilya mentality, is a fun run for families and pets that promotes community and shared purpose. The event encapsulates the essence of what it means to be a Kapamilya: standing — and running — together through all highs and lows. Because when we run together, we shine brighter and have a longer-lasting effect.
