MNL City Run is gearing up for its second leg, the Aqua Run 2026: The Coolest Way to Run with Purpose, following the series opener, HeartBeat Run, which launched RUN FOR REAL earlier in March.

Aqua Run, taking place on Sunday, July 26, 2026, in Filinvest City in Alabang, returns for its second year with the same splash-soaked exuberance that made its debut unforgettable; this time with deeper roots and a cause that is closer to home.

Water is the focal point of this RUN FOR REAL segment since it is essential to every runner and every community. Hydration stations, a tiny but essential reminder of what keeps bodies moving and spirits up, will line the route on race day. However, Aqua Run 2026 is more than just a race. It highlights the millions of Filipinos who still don’t have consistent access to clean drinking water in isolated and underdeveloped places.

To help close that gap, a portion of the proceeds will benefit the event’s charity partner, Waves4Water Philippines, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing clean water to distant and impoverished communities across the country. Waves4Water first made a name for itself in the Philippines with rescue activities following Typhoon Haiyan, and it has now expanded its purpose to include long-term commitments to water security where it is most needed.
