We now have race details for the 3rd leg of the MNL City Run 2024 Series.
Leg 3 is dubbed as “Futuristic Frenzy Finale,” and will take place on October 13, 2024, at Central Park Filinvest City in Alabang, Muntinlupa, and will be divided into five categories: 5KM, 10KM, 16KM, 21KM, and 42KM.
After pursuing the present, the “Time 2 Run 4ward” series will run into the future with relentless spirit. The final leg of the series is a celebration of an optimistic outlook for what’s to come. Complemented by tech-inspired elements, “Futuristic Frenzy Finale” is all about excitement and energy. It’s a gathering that convenes runners — from casual enthusiasts to veterans and familiar faces in running events — for an unforgettable experience that goes beyond just hitting fitness goals and setting new personal records.
For the final event of the series, there will be two beneficiaries — a first in the history of MNL City Run. The first one is Cribs Foundation, a child welfare agency armed with a vision to create “a safe and loving home and environment for each child free from any form of violence or abuse.” The second one is Million Trees Foundation Inc. A previous beneficiary of MNL City Run, the foundation is “dedicated to the conservation and rehabilitation of the seven critical watersheds” in the country. Their goal is to plant a million trees year after year.
These two foundations align with the goal of the event to make an impact well after the runners have crossed the finish line. Living up to the run’s forward-looking theme, “Future Frenzy Finale” aims to create a ripple effect of positive change, nurturing both the environment and the lives of vulnerable children. By supporting these organizations, participants are not just running for personal achievement but also contributing to a legacy of sustainability and care that will benefit future generations.
